Gauge Wheel

Gauge Wheel :gauge wheels found on most planters, grain drills, and no-till air seeding tools.The gauge wheel and the planter opener blades work together to form a well-defined seed furrow for consistent depth. The design of the gauge wheel tire creates a clearly distinct seed furrow by firming the soil on either side of the seed trench. The tire's lip helps create this firming action and minimizes soil buildup between the wheel and the blade. The semi-pneumatic rubber tire flexes to help shed soil and ensures a consistent depth.
