CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY OF SFAX (CCIS)

The Sfax Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIS) is a public establishment of economic interest under the supervision of the Ministry of Commerce. It has legal personality, financial autonomy, and is governed by the law of November 30, 2006. Structure and Operations The CCIS is organized into two main bodies: The Committee: Made up of 30 members elected for a 5-year term by local companies in the Sfax region. The Bureau: Composed of 10 members drawn from the committee (President, 5 Vice-Presidents, Secretary General and Deputy, Treasurer and Deputy). It develops proposed projects, executes decisions, and assists the President. The Administrative Staff: Governed by a statute approved by decree, following standard internal regulations.
